What is a Series LLC?
The Delaware Series LLC is a unique Delaware LLC with unlimited asset segregation potential. Within the Delaware LLC Act, a special provision provides for one entity to act like many entities. Under one Series LLC you can set up
numerous "series," with each owning separate assets. According to the statute, 6 Del. C. Section 18-215,

"The debts, liabilities, obligations and expenses incurred, contracted for or otherwise existing with respect to a particular series shall be enforceable against the assets of such series only, and not against the assets of the company generally or any other series thereof," [as long as separate books and records are kept for each series.]
